Rigden Lineage Thangka

This thangka is extraordinary and it’s historical and it’s ours. It has the element of wisdom, it has the element of courage, it has the elements of compassion and magic. ~ Sakyong Mipham Rinpoche

This seven by ten foot depiction which will take two years to complete will have Shakyamuni Buddha, Shiwa Okar and the Sakyong lineage above the central figure of the Primordial Rigden. The lineage tree includes the ancestral sovereigns, Rigden kings and queens, Dharma kings and queens, Gesar of Ling, lineage holders of India and TIbet, the five wisdom Buddhas, Kalachakra and the protectors of all these lineage streams.
