Shambhala Vision Campaign: In 2009, The Sakyong Foundation, in collaboration once again with Shambhala, offered a $100,000 challenge grant for the Shambhala Vision campaign. Living Peace: In 2008, we funded peace dialogue forums at three major universities and received initial funding to develop programming and facilities for peace studies at Shambhala Mountain Center. We have also obtained a grant to further develop the Living Peace Award. Endowments: We offered a Dorje Kasung Endowment and Special Projects matching grant campaign, establishing long-term funding for the largest volunteer service group within Shambhala. We are also continuing to build the Sakyong Lineage Fund, established to contribute to the growth and strength of the Sayong lineage.
