  • Living Peace

    Beginning in 2006 at Shambhala Mountain Center, with the presentation of the Living Peace Award to His Holiness the Dalai Lama, the Foundation is supporting Sakyong Mipham's intention to bring the strength of meditation—as a tool for personal transformation—into the global effort to achieve world peace.

    One of the Foundation's goals is to build Shambhala's financial sustainability by creating endowments, where contributions become a legacy that is protected and invested, and a portion of investment profits are used to make grants.
